How We Verify Deals
Most deal sites are run by bots. A script scrapes a discount, publishes it, and moves on – which is why you’ve clicked deals that turned out to be fake discounts, wrong products, or out-of-stock listings. We built DealsBazaar4u to fix exactly that.
Every single deal you see here was checked by a human before publishing. When you see the ✓ Verified badge, it means the deal passed all four of these checks:
Step 1: Is the discount real?
Stores love inflating the “original price” to make a discount look bigger. Before publishing, we compare the deal price against the product’s recent price history. If a “50% off” deal was selling at the same price two weeks ago, it fails – and never reaches you. On every deal page you’ll find a price history chart so you can confirm this yourself.
Step 2: Is it the correct product?
Automated comparison tools regularly mix up similar models – showing you the price of a different variant, older generation, or a lookalike product entirely. We manually match the exact model number, variant, and colour before a comparison goes live. What you click is what you compared.
Step 3: Is it in stock, from a real seller?
We check stock status and seller ratings at publish time, and our system re-verifies prices and availability regularly. Every deal card shows exactly when the price was last updated – no stale prices pretending to be live. Deals that go out of stock for 7 days are removed automatically.
Step 4: Do the reviews hold up?
A cheap product with suspicious 5-star review patterns is not a deal – it’s a trap. We do a quick sanity check on rating count and review quality before recommending anything.
What happens to deals that fail?
They stay in our draft pile and never get published. On an average day, a meaningful chunk of auto-discovered “deals” fail Step 1 alone. That’s the whole point – you only see the survivors.
The honest fine print
- Prices are re-verified regularly, not per-second. A price can change between our last check and your click – that’s why every card shows an “Updated X hours ago” timestamp, and the store’s live page is always the final word.
- We currently track Amazon India and Flipkart. A better price may exist on a store we don’t cover yet. We’d rather tell you that than pretend we scan “100+ stores”.
- We earn affiliate commissions on purchases – but commissions never influence verification. Read How We Earn.
Spotted a bad deal?
If a verified deal turns out wrong – wrong price, wrong product, dead link – report it. We investigate within 24 hours and fix or pull the deal. Keeping the ✓ badge trustworthy matters more to us than any single deal.
